Informational estimates

MeasureTally calculators and articles provide informational planning estimates. Results are based on the values you enter and the stated calculation rules; they are not guarantees of the amount you must buy, the amount ultimately installed, project cost, or project outcome.

Actual requirements can vary because of product dimensions, package size, layout, waste, installation method, jobsite or project conditions, and manufacturer requirements.

Verify product and project requirements

Recheck measurements, units, inputs, waste assumptions, package quantities, prices, and results before purchasing or beginning work. Current manufacturer specifications, product documentation, packaging, labels, and installation instructions take priority over general site content or calculator assumptions.

MeasureTally does not provide professional construction, installation, architectural, engineering, legal, or safety advice. The site does not inspect or determine substrate suitability, structural adequacy, waterproofing, code compliance, engineering suitability, installation safety, or whether a product or system is appropriate for a particular project.
